Can the Seawalker® be used after injury?
Yes. Many horses returning from box rest or controlled hand-walking begin Seawalker® sessions once their vet confirms they’re ready. The variable water depth allows gradual reintroduction of movement, helping reduce limb loading while encouraging circulation and strength.
Always consult your vet before introducing any post-injury exercise.
How many horses can use a Seawalker® at once?
Depending on the model, from 4 horses up to 8 horses can walk at the same time, supervised by a single trained operator.

How does a Seawalker® differ from a treadmill or swimming pool?
Unlike treadmills, horses walk unassisted in Seawalker®, maintaining their natural stride and posture. Unlike pools, they remain in contact with the ground at all times, preserving normal respiration and neural head carriage, reducing injury risk.
Seawalker® combines natural movement with chilled salt water for whole-body, low-stress conditioning.
Can Seawalker® be customised for my yard?
